Organization's History
The Hispanic Canadian Arts and Cultural Association was formed on 2010. Its members work by exchanging ideas and collaborating as a team in order to execute community based cultural projects. The vision for the Ontario Latin Arts Festival is to use the power of music and the arts to engage our community and volunteers, to engage Ontario’s multicultural communities, to inspire children and youth, and to transform our communities through excellent events and programs. We strive to create a positive and creative vision for our Hispanic Community in Canada.
The HCACA has produced and marketed several successful events in the GTA, such as: the Hispanic Festival 2010, Hispanic Extravaganza 2011 and the Latin Jazz Festival 2012. These events were possible with the support of the Hispanic business community, The Hispanic Media and CBC Radio, Jazz 99FM, and CP24 News. Support from the Canadian Heritage, Ontario Arts Council, City of Toronto, Mississauga Arts Council, City of Toronto Counsellor Cesar Palacio and volunteers.

- A strong plan for engaging the local community in the preparations for and legacy of the Ontario Latin Arts Festival
