The Ontario LATIN ARTS Festival (OLAF) 2014 will highlight the cultural heritage of the Hispanic peoples of Canada. This free public event includes live performances with over 100 musicians, dancers, and local artisans at Mel Lastman Square and the North York Civic Centre in Toronto. Mel Lastman Square’s outdoor stage will host performances by top Latin musicians and dancers while the market area will feature food vendors, arts and crafts displays, dance workshops, and children’s activities. The North York Civic Center will host the Visual Arts Showcase featuring artists of Hispanic Heritage.
Who organizes the Ontario LATIN ARTS Festival?
The Ontario Latin Arts Festival is organized by the Hispanic Canadian Arts and Cultural Organization. Our Mission is to preserve and promote the Hispanic culture, roots, traditions in the Greater Toronto Area and the Province of Ontario through the presentation of arts, education, community, and social events and programs.
Who is the audience and the expected attendance for the event?
The target audience and expected attendance of the OLAF 2014 is the Hispanic-Canadian population of the Greater Toronto Area, as well as youth, adults, and seniors of diverse backgrounds and the general public interested in Hispanic arts and culture.

What are the dates, times and location of the Ontario LATIN ARTS Festival 2014?
Though this is a two day event, the marketplace for food vendors, businesses and artisans of the Ontario LATIN ARTS Festival will be open only on Saturday July 12th, 2014 from 1 – 9pm, at Mel Lastman Square in Toronto.

What is the deadline for the application?
The final firm date for applications is June 1st, 2014. Incomplete applications, including application without signed terms of agreement and payment, will not be considered. Accounts made with incomplete payments will be removed from the server on June 1st, 2014.
What is the fees?
The fees for vendors are:
Food Vendors: $450
Businesses: $400
Not for Profit Organizations: $200
Artisans: $200
What methods of payment do you accept for the participation fee?

When should I expect my participant package?
Selected participants will receive detailed packages sent by email. Your package will provide you with load-in and load-out procedures and important details for the day of the event.
How big is the designated space?
A single booth space measures 10 feet x 10 feet.
Do you provide tables, chairs, tents or any other display materials?
The HCACA will provide one table, two chairs and power.
What if it rains?
The Ontario LATIN ARTS Festival is rain or shine event. However, we are unable to provide tents or cover for booths should it rain.
